The Intrinsi Natural Movement Fitness Centre offers small group and one on one ‘movnat’ fitness training. We work closely with you to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. You’ll find that our coaches support you each step of the way.
You can choose from a 4, 8 or 12 month program and come anywhere from 2 – 4 times per week. Classes run from 6:30 a/m – 7p/m so you’ll be able to find a time that works for you.
The first time we meet, we want to hear from you. We want to understand why you have come to the Natural Movement Fitness Centre. We want to know about your health and fitness goals, and why they are important to you.
We will ask a lot of questions about your health, your exercise history, your injuries and illnesses. We want to know about any restrictions to your freedom of movement, how they got started, and how they are affecting your life now. If you’d like to see them in advance, this is a list of the kind of questions we will ask.
Your answers will help us understand what type of training will serve you best. Together we will identify your goals. We will discuss the best way to achieve them—and how long that is likely to take.
This first meeting with one of our coaches is complimentary. It will last between 45 minutes and an hour. At the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to commit to a membership at the Natural Movement Fitness Centre for four, eight or twelve months.
Our commitment is to your success. We will have worked with you to discover your goals, and we will know why those goals are important. We will understand what has come between you and success in the past. We will challenge you. And we will support you.
No matter your fitness, we can help you move to the next level. The struggles you may have had previously are not going to be struggles when you join us. Whether it was a lack of motivation or a lack of follow-through, when you work with us, these will fall by the wayside.
Your commitment is to your success through training with us. You show up, and you work hard. You keep your goals in mind and move toward them. All the while, you can be secure in the knowledge that your instructor will guide you competently, with experience and expertise.
We don’t offer drop-in classes because they don’t give us the chance to get to know you. And we want to get to know you, to be part of your journey. We want to help you achieve lasting, lifelong changes. According to researchers at the University College London, it take much more than 21 days to create a new habit. In fact, it can take anywhere from 66 to 254 days. For that reason, we require a minimum commitment of four months. And that’s four months of us both being committed to achieving your goals.
It’s about more than getting fit. You will definitely become stronger and more flexible. You’ll have more energy and resilience. The magic, however, is in what your health and fitness will enable you to do—and how your life will inspire your family and friends to become healthier too.

We’ve had the Discovery meeting in which we’ve identified your needs. We’ve made a commitment to each other. Now it’s time to achieve your goals. It’s time to start training using the movnat fitness method.
By this point you will have had a tour of the Natural Movement Fitness Centre. You’ll know where to hang your jacket and take off your shoes, where to sit down to enjoy a cup of ‘Happy Belly’ kombucha or a delicious snack from organic, local ‘Basic Roots’.
You will know that this is a place where it is safe to try new things. You will know our staff are approachable. You will know that they are committed to making sure everyone feels welcome. You will know that they have the training and skill to take you where you want to go.
We will assess and reassess your progress over time. When you start training with us, we will assess your strength and flexibility, and we will reassess them every 12 weeks. These assessments will let us know whether the training we are offering is effectively moving you closer to your fitness goals.
If we’re not seeing the results we expected, we will make changes. We can tweak the training so that it better meets your needs. We can also delve deeper into any health condition that may be limiting your progress. Intrinsi’s osteopathic therapists are always available with their expert care to help you move beyond injury and illness.
