Active | Passionate | Attentive
Kara completed her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta. Kara’s passion for Physiotherapy started when she was young while competing in ringette and volleyball. She now enjoys being active outdoors, hiking, snowboarding and biking.
As she pursued her education in Physiotherapy, she had the opportunity to work and volunteer in many areas of physiotherapy giving her a wide range of experiences from pediatrics to neural conditions. Throughout her education she found a passion for treating pelvic health conditions, understanding the impact that the pelvic floor can have on overall health and specific injuries. Kara plans to continue her education in this area learning to treat conditions such as pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse and others.
Kara believes in using a holistic approach to healing with the goal to help her patients learn and understand their injury to allow them to take control their rehabilitation process. She uses a combination of exercises and manual therapy to help her patients achieve their goals.
