Lisa is a 200HR Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher specializing in Vinyasa Flow. She completed her training at Reflexions studio in her hometown of Penticton, BC. Always having a passion for staying active, Lisa found yoga after enduring various injuries from participating in multiple high performance sports including hockey, soccer, field hockey, track and field, and cross country running. Through this experience she realized that it is not only important to practice the posture and movement aspects of yoga, but it is especially important to exercise the mind through mediation and self-reflection. Once she began to feel connected to her own self again, her passion for understanding and helping others began to resurface. With this knowledge, she hopes to be able to teach people the tools they need to begin their journey to their own personal healing and health journey.
When Lisa isn’t practicing yoga you can find her working on her graphic designs, paintings, and drawings. She also enjoys going for long hikes in the mountains with her dog and cooking delicious vegetarian meals. Always curious to keep learning, Lisa hopes to continue expanding her love for yoga by completing her 500HR teacher training in Rishikesh, India.’
