Marilyn is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their optimal function by using an evidence-based and client-centered approach. As an advocate of health and wellness, Marilyn’s focus is to enhance the lives of her clients through pain reduction, functional mobility improvement, lifestyle management, and performance optimization. She knows every individual is unique and that rehabilitation programs should be tailored for desired results.
Throughout her life, Marilyn benefited from Physiotherapy as a patient to complement years of sporting endeavours. Experiencing the benefits of physiotherapy first hand sparked Marilyn’s interest for the profession as it improved her quality of life and competitiveness as an athlete. Marilyn completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. She enjoys treating a diverse clientele using a balanced approach incorporating manual therapy, exercise, and education specifically tailored to the individual needs of each person. She believes in the importance of being able to manage one’s own condition and devotes time to teaching each person about their condition and provides tools to assist in moving forward.
When she is not working, Marilyn enjoys spending time with her large extended family and good friends. Marilyn has a strong interest in sports, which stems from her younger years. Currently, she continues to enjoy outdoor activities, skiing, hiking, camping, running, cycling, weight-lifting, and golfing.
