Sarah Brennan
Chiropractor
Sarah originally hails from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. She majored in Biology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Francis Xavier University. She then moved to Toronto to complete chiropractic training at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Upon graduating in 2013, Sarah decided to head west to make Calgary home.
Over the last decade, Sarah has worked with patients from infants to seniors, ranging from general well-being to motor vehicle accident recovery. She has also completed several continuing education courses with a focus on how chiropractic can help patients with headaches, TMJ concerns, and chronic pain. Sarah utilizes a combination of several chiropractic techniques including diversified techniques (manual adjustments), gentle joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and exercise recommendations.
After becoming a mother, Sarah gained a new appreciation for pregnancy and its toll on the body. She has completed training in the Webster technique, which promotes pelvic alignment in pregnant mothers, BirthFit certification, GrowCo Rehab for postpartum care, and chiropractic treatments for infants and kids. Sarah enjoys working with patients throughout all stages of motherhood, from pregnancy to postpartum healing.
Although Sarah misses the ocean, she has come to appreciate all Alberta has to offer, which includes Calgary and its many green spaces and welcoming people. Sarah spends her free time exploring Alberta with her two young daughters and husband and falling asleep during family movie night. To stay healthy, Sarah enjoys yoga and walks with the family dog, Walter.
